We <3 intimate weddings! April and Josh invited 50 of their family and closest friends to celebrate their special day. The ceremony was held at the Kyoto Gardens of the DoubleTree by Hilton Los Angeles Downtown. The reception was in the Thousand Cranes room overseeing the waterfall and pond. Their wedding colors were purple, lavender and white. We hung paper lanterns in the trees and made a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. SignatureK designed and put together the calla lily bridal bouquet, aisle decor, and centerpieces. The centerpieces were simple cylinder vases filled river rocks, orchids, and topped off with floating candles, a perfectly fitting for the venue. April designed and made all the place cards with origami cranes. The wedding favors were cute 8 oz See’s Candy Boxes wrapped in white and tied with purple ribbon. The evening went off without a hitch. The bride’s uncle actually came over and complimented how everything was so organized and going so smoothly, unlike his son’s wedding planner. It’s little comments like this that make all of our hard work and 10+ hour days totally worthwhile!
