Emily and Lihan are the most mellow and calm couple I know. I joined the planning process about 4 months before the big day — August 14. We worked on various details of the wedding to really bring Emily’s vision to live. Emily picked a beautiful venue, the Palos Verdes Country Club for both ceremnoy and reception. I love to have 2-in-1 venues! Photography were shot by Stephen Cheng Photography. Amazing floral arrangements were designed by Jeff Hurst of Rolling Hills Flower Mart. I loOooooved Emily’s bouquet, it was gorgeous!  The ceremony was officiated by Revend Joseph Cheng, it was all in Mandarin Chinese! I’ll be honest, I had to sneak a peek at my notes during ceremony to make sure I know where we are. =)  Emily and Lihan incorporated a sand ceremony and parent appreciation as part of the wedding program. The groom, Lihan designed the wedding program and they made it into a fan, perfect for hot summer weddings. Fedora DJ. Paul Carganilla, took care of the ceremony music, along with coordinating sound check with the String Trio by Katherine Concert Associates, and two vocalists who are friends of the bride and groom.  At the reception, we played the newlywed game, which made the guests laugh. Cake was provided by Torrance Bakery. The favors were mini honey jars with custom label ‘Meant to Be” and the bride + groom’s name plus wedding date.  Emily also ordered lots of stuff online, such as the bird cages from Save-on-Crafts.com, and the purple parasols from LunaBazaard.com.  The guests absolutely had a blast with the special Guest Book that Emily ordered from GuestBookStore.com. Finally, the photobooth with custom decal on the interior and exterior, fun props, and scrapbook were provided by Oh Snap! Box.

My hubby, David, helped out at the wedding since I’m a little preggy. =) He also took some great detail photos of the wedding. Enjoy!

Palos Verdes Country Club is a beautiful location. The flowers were exquisite, and the color combo was beautiful.

P.S. congrats on your up-coming bundle of joy.
