I volunteered to help plan an office baby shower for one of our engineers. That department’s male female ratio is 15:2, so I had to jump in to jazz it up a bit. With a small budget, I bought decorations for about $30 including the greeting card and favors. For dessert, I ordered Gelson’s vanilla and chocolate cupcakes for about $55. I know the guys all wanted beer, but it’s not a beer bash, so I got MILK! Yes, MILK! Soy, Low-fat, and Lactose-Free Whole milk. Surprisingly the Lactose-Free Whole Milk was the popular one. To add more to cupcakes, I also picked up some Oreos and ChipAhoys. The group chipped in and got mommy-to-be a gift card to Babies R Us. I personally bought her a super soft teddy bear, and two newborn outfits by carter.
