Delia and Chris are huge Game of Thrones fans, and wanted the show’s inspiration featured throughout their wedding. They tied the knot at Los Coyotes Country Club in Buena Park, California on a perfect day. Every detail of their wedding was beautifully displayed and inspired by Game of Thrones, from their amazing cake down to their table numbers.
A beautiful invitation suite was created by La Design Boutique to match the theme, along with a custom-made monogram with the couple’s initials. The ceremony area was dressed in deep red and white florals, on the venue’s stunning Lakeside Lawn. A string trio serenaded guests as they arrived and during the ceremony processional. We designed this wedding with Game of Thrones in mind, and we even had the florist add in a black feather to the groom and groomsmen’s boutonnières to represent the ravens from the show. Custom signage was created for their special day, and helped guide guests from the venue entrance to their seats. After Delia and Chris were pronounced husband and wife, guests blew bubbles for their recessional.
The guest book table and seating chart were dressed with more show inspiration, and guests were able to leave the couple messages on small scrolls tied together with ribbon. The reception tables had beautiful deep red linens with custom Game of Thrones table numbers, honoring the different houses in the show, and our couple was seated on a “throne” behind the sweetheart table. For the cake, Katella Bakery put together an amazing four-tiered cake with a fondant characters, a dragon, and even the iron throne. It was definitely a special day!
