Erica and David are the sweetest couple. They opted for a small intimate beach wedding with family and close friends. We helped them with planning a simple modern wedding with bright fuchsia and gray color scheme. We’re so happy that everything turned out beautifully and the wedding was executed smoothly. Erica booked this beautiful condo on AirBnB to get ready in. Since there was no wedding party, it was just the right size. Erica and David went to downtown LA to purchase the fabric and had them cut into strips for the chair ties. We decorated the chairs with chiffon chair sashes in alternating fuchsia and gray colors. Small floral arrangements were tied to every other row as aisle decor.
Erica and David didn’t want an arch or any altar decoration that would obstruct the ocean view, so we designed the decor with two short pillars with short floral arrangement on each side.
This pretty invitation suite included save the date, invitation, rsvp cards and envelopes. We used beach inspired embellishments such as sand dollar and seashell paper cut-outs and pearl strings.
The reception was held at the Sunset Restaurant in Malibu. Guests just have to cross the street from the beach and be at the reception venue. Can’t get more convenient than that! We used minimal floral in the decoration, but incorporated pearls, sand, and seashells in tall glass vases as centerpiece. Simple cardstock table number in matching color.
Dessert table features mini cupcakes, mini cheesecakes, cake pops, mini pecan pies, and french macarons.
This amazing upside-down drip cake was designed by the bride and created by Mwokaji Cakery.
Erica and David framed their engagement photos and displayed on the welcome table. We made signs to help guests find their escort cards. wedding gifts and cards.
The guest book is the most unique ever! Erica had purchased a second dress for the guests to sign and leave well wishes and message on. She then changed into the dress during reception.
Special thanks to the vendor team that always put their best customer service on. DJ Q-Nice is a close friend of the Groom. He was legit spinning old school and hip hop all night with a little bit of classic rock. The party was so awesome that I overheard guests saying, “This is the most fun wedding that I’ve ever been to!”
