Karin’s pastor reached out to me panicking about this birthday party that the birthday girl herself was trying to put together. I told her I’d see what I can do to help. One phone conversation and a quick site inspection later, we hit it off! We had one week to plan this gorgeous private estate birthday bash. Karin’s favorite color is purple and lavender, the interior has sage green and gold, so we incorporated them into the decor with a minimalist modern look and a hint of Mediterranean to coordinate with the architecture. The private estate has an amazing view overseeing the San Gabriel Valley. You can even see Downtown LA on a clear day. We created seating for the guests using modern lounge furniture and coordinating pillows. The coffee table and side tables are LED ready and light up to whatever the color the host wanted.
January evenings can be a bit chilly even in Los Angeles. For indoor hang out options, we had cocktail tables set up for guests to eat, drink and mingle. To bring some colors back in, we chose the lavender table linen to make the decoration pop.
Karin wanted minimal flowers, but what party can go on without flowers!? We ordered these gorgeous purple centerpieces with succulents to dress up the tables and bar. The floral designer, Lovesome Blossom, hand picked the Mediterranean ceramic vase to hold the flowers, so fitting!
