I worked 12 hours today. Super exhausted! Working a wedding is not as fun and easy as it seems, but it does feel rewarding at the end of the night seeing how much you’ve accomplished. My wedding class instructor, Christine Baumgartner, from The Perfect Day, needed help to work a 300 guest wedding at Hilton Glendale. I volunteered. I arrived at Hilton Glendale at 10:30 AM and met with the ‘team’. There were four of us, two were responsible for the ceremony and two of us took care of the reception site. Shannon and I helped the florist, Janet, layout the floral arrangements, candles, and set up the escort cards. (please, always remember to alphabetize!) We had to check the bride and groom out of their hotel room, and move all of their belongings to the bell closet.
