Hi Friends! I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be hosting my first DIY Wedding Planning Workshop! I designed this workshop to help couples wanting to DIY all parts of their wedding or just a few elements. At the end of the workshop, DIY brides/couples will have a clear road map to get started. Come hang out with us and check out some vintage rentals available at the DIY LA Bride Studio.
When: Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 10:30 AM – 12:30 PM (2 hours)
Where: DIY LA Bride Studio, 1553 Victory Blvd, Glendale, CA, United States
Many people would say that DIY couples are on tight budget or have trust issues with wedding vendors, but I think these couples really just need a creative outlet or want to add personal touches to make it more memorable. There are many wedding projects you can take on and still have a beautiful wedding. However, you should evaluate your crafting skills before taking the plunge. Making ONE is fun, but not so much when you have to make 150 and still keep the consistency and quality.
The workshop will cover the following:
- Wedding Priorities – What’s important to you and your partner?
- Wedding Budget – Spend your money on what’s important.
- Venue Selection – From backyard to hotel ballroom, which one fits your personality?
- Vendor Selection – You don’t have to book a professional, but know the difference between pro and amateur.
- Types of DIY Projects – From floral to paper craft, you can do it with a little planning and organization.
- DIY Resources – List of local and online shops to buy your DIY project material and tools.
Thanks to Sabrina of DIY LA Bride Studio for helping me put this together! We’re looking forward to meeting you!
Seating is limited, please RSVP online. Did I mention that it’s FREE!
