wow, did you know that you can pay the city to use the public parking lot for a private event? i’m helping out a wedding this weekend in glendale, and had to put up parking reservation signs to save spaces for the wedding guests. the thing is, the signs need to be up 30 hours before the actual event! so here i am with hubby, in the parking lot with limited lighting, placing the paper signs in ziploc bags (cuz there’s 50% chance of rain in the valley on friday) and zip tying the signs to the parking meter at 10pm. oh fun!
