Susan is a super woman, she literally worked until the day before her wedding. Luckily, we have the majority wedding items down, so the special day came and went without a hitch (well, except a few unexpected “little” guests). The wedding party met up at the bride’s mom’s house and picked up by Crown Limousine and shuttled between hotel and church. The wedding ceremony was held at the Sierra Madre Congregational Church. This beautiful little church (hidden in the hills north of Arcadia), were packed with Susan and Peter’s 300 wedding guests. Floral arrangements were designed by Valley Florist. Photography by Lynn-Kai Chao and his assistant Linda Tamarpirat. The reception was held at the International Ballroom at the Hilton Pasadena. DJ Mike of High Resolution was great to work with and had the party pumping all through the night. I loved the musical chair scavenger game and Ka-Broom (from Minute-to-Win-it), which brought so much fun and laughter to the ballroom.
Thanks to my trusty assistants, Akina and Luisa, for holding down the fort at the reception site while I coordinate huge family photo shoot at the church!
One note to all brides: Please make sure your guest list and seating arrangement is organized and alphabetized by last name. If you don’t know the guest’s guest name, call and find out. This is especially crucial if you have entrees selections, each guest will need a place card so the servers know what food to serve. Also, make sure you have accurate counts, if expecting extra guests or children, remember to add those to your final count when you talk to the catering manager. =) If you don’t have time to do all of these, call your wedding coordinator to help with guest list management.
