My kids are having the hardest time during this pandemic. They miss their friends, miss playing in the park, and visiting relatives. I think they even miss school and their teachers.
Allison wanted a unicorn donut birthday party, but we decided it’s safer to have a drive-by instead of a party. She was so excited to work on the theme and design, especially that her friends will come by to say hi! We kept it simple, single 6 ft table with balloon arch and handed out goodie bags. The kids joined a Zoom party online later and played games.
As with all the birthday party I plan, I first research the theme, decorative elements, and the color scheme. Then I sketched the design before I ordered any of the party items.
I ordered a digital invitation on Etsy and was able to customize the messages on there. I also used the same design to make a 11×17 sign to remind the guests to keep their mask on when they roll down the car window.
