The wedding ceremony was held at Our Savior Parish & USC Caruso Catholic Center in Downtown LA. Kristine and Michael wanted to celebrate important people in their lives who had passed away, so a table was set up in memory of them. Instead of a guest book, the guests’ well wishes were on display in a large wooden heart frame next to the table. Since the wedding was held in a church, there were many rules to respect the space. Here are some tips to keep in mind when holding your wedding in a worship space:

Photos and the cocktail hour were hosted in the beautiful Kyoto Garden of the DoubleTree Hilton. The newlyweds loved the Japanese-style space, which they paired with a beautiful spread of sweets including a macaron tower. Guests enjoyed fun Asian-inspired photo props at the photo booth, such as a mini rice cooker and bubble tea inflatables. Their cake toppers were inspired by the popular Asian mascots Brown and Cony of the messaging app LINE. The couple was surprised with an ice cream stand at the end of the night for everyone to enjoy a cool, sweet treat.
